Hello Folks, With the recent aggressive push for Ethanol blending by the Government of India, we have come up with an industrial report on Sugar sector. Sugar is thematic but the tailwind of ethanol makes it unique to be a part of our portfolio. I express my heartiest gratitude to Tejas Jariwala and Neeraj Marathe for their guidance and support. Please give it a read.We advice you to consult your financial advisor before taking any actions. Also I will keep updating this blog as and when new information comes up to me so if anyone wish to follow this sugar and ethanol story you can come back to this blog and find the latest updates. And also if you find any, do share any updates or views on this sector. Thank you for reading.
UPDATES
March 25,2022 link In my opinion, since the export target of sugar was already around 7-8 MT; the limit for export of sugar of 8MT for the current season should have no major effect. Moreover with the oil prices tanking up, more sugarcane can be diverted towards ethanol to help the government achieve the target of ethanol blending.
Great Work.
